More than 250 employees were examined at the eye check-up camp. Medicines and eye drops were also distributed free of cost by Sachdeva Netralaya.
Dr Sanjay Sachdeva, Phsco Lasik Eye Surgeon, Sachdeva Netralaya, said, "Eyes are very important part of our body and we must take great care of them. Getting our eyes examined at least once a year is crucial as many eye diseases like glaucoma, retinal degeneration etc can be diagnosed only through frequent eye check-ups.
Dr Abhishek Sachdeva, Eye Surgeon, Sachdeva Netralaya, said, we must improve access to eye/health care services. It is quite imperative to spread awareness on eye disorders, their early detection and to detect refractive errors and eye ailments amongst all.
Bikram Jit Singh, HR-Head, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited and members, CII apprised that CII J&K State has taken a very good initiative especially for the manufacturing industries where workers don't have much knowledge about how to protect their eyes from dust and infection.
