| SSB initiates plantation drive in Khellani area | | |  Early Times Report
DODA, July 12: SSB Khellani with the support of 7Bn SSB Batote, which is represented by Ajay Kumar Commandant started a drive for plantation to celebrate the onset of monsoons on Friday at Khellani area in district Doda to cover the patches in forest land. This plantation programme will continue till July 17.
Around 50 students of GHSS Khellani also participated and contributed for the same with SSB personnel. AS many as 60 SSB Jawans headed by Ajay Kumar Commandant 7th battalion SSB Batote along with Jagdish Ram Bhat Assistant Commandant, students and teachers of GHSS Khellani launched a special plantation drive in empty area around Khellani nallah and planted approximately 350 different kind of plants. Speaking to Early Times, Commandant Anay Kumar said that with the coordination of forest authorities Batote and Khellani, the plantation drive was launched in empty road side area around Khellani nallah and this drive will continue upto July 17. |
