Change your destiny by rejecting leaders who misled Jammu: Munish to people
7/13/2019 12:06:31 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 12: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Friday asked people not to get carried away by the hollow slogans being raised by the leaders, who have reappeared on the scene after five years.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "As the elections are coming closer politicians have started coming out of their shells and are telling the people that they can do anything for them."
"After five years they have realized that people are suffering in absence of basic amenities," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar Assembly elections.
He said, "Time has come to send a strong message to the leaders who have represented us during all these years that they cannot take us for a ride forever."
Munish said, "I have come to my people with a message that we deserve a better deal and can't be left to fend on our own. The elected representatives have not been able to deliver. The localities and areas which I have visited during my mass contact programme present a dismal picture. The people have a common complaint that MLAs and counsellors just turned their backs towards them after getting elected."
He said, "Forthcoming Assembly elections are a golden opportunity for all of us to change our destiny by rejecting those who have misled us during all these years."
