Give me a chance, I won't let you down: Munish to people
7/16/2019 12:07:17 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 15: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Monday said that his ongoing mass contact programme has exposed the politicians, who used to swear by development and Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.
"The areas which I have visited during the past one and a half month lack basic amenities. Roads are in dilapidated condition, drains are choked, transformers are overloaded and there is no mechanism at place to clear the garbage," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "Residents in all the areas are up in arms against the representatives, whom they voted for in the past and they don't even trust the sincere people who really want to serve them. It's unfortunate that the politicians have pushed common people to the wall."
Munish said, "The people of Jammu have become politically aware and the traditional politicians won't be able to take them for a ride anymore. Their report card is a big zero and they (politicians) have been left with nothing to sell."
He urged people to come have faith in him and give him a chance to serve them. "I have come to my people with a sincere intention to serve you. If I win the elections I will ensure that the issues confronting a common man are resolved without any delay and the areas which have been ignored are developed. Give me a chance I won't let you down," he added.
