| CEO Poonch not bothered to detach teachers | | |

poonch, July 15: Despite repeated strict directions from Higher Education authorities, Chief Education Officer Poonch Vijay Bhagat has not bothered to detach teachers /Masters attached in various Zonal Education Offices and CEO office itself.
These verbally attached Masters and Teachers are not only holding important assignments like SSA but dealing the visitors at their own way. In a case of a master Mushtaq Ahmed Khan who has been attached illegally in CEO office for the past over 10 years has been transferred with the direction to join GMS Narbalnoi with immediate effect by Director school Education Jammu vide his order No 1375-DSEJ of 2017 dated 31/8/2017 but after the lapse of over two years the master is still working in the CEO Office till date and CEO Poonch does not bother to ask him on which capacity he has been working in the CEO Office. The order copy is lying with The Early Times.
Sources in the CEO Office disclosed that the master has been holding all the charges of Sarav Shiksha Abhiyan, Samagra Shiksha, UDISE etc and operating all the cash books illegally where lakhs of rupees and being misused. Some teachers alleged that similarly in all the Zones Teachers are working as clerks but CEO Does not bother to detach them where as hundreds of teachers are compelled to act on the directions of illegally attached teachers. |
