Early Times Report

Srinagar, July 16: With no let up in complaints against the Kashmir University, in the latest the students pursuing Bachelors of Engineering have accused the KU authorities of announcing flawed results whereby over eighty percent of the students have been shown failing.
As per the students, the results for the second semester are grossly flawed as 84 percent of the candidates have been shown failing in one or two subjects.
The students said the examination system at the varsity had become a mockery "Is is ever possible that eighty percent of engineering students from a particular college will fail, or is it that the KU babus are looking for some Chai Pani to correct the errors," said a parent.
The students said even after having shown the gross errors in the results the KU officials were unwilling to listen to their pleas.
"It looks that as the aggrieved students are from a private college the KU officials may be looking ahead to mint fortunes for correction," said some students.
The students said that why was it that the KU officials resort to errors in compilation of results of a private college.
When contacted a KU official said the matter was being looked into.
Meanwhile the students have appealed Governor SP Malik to personally look into the matter. "We don't want repetition of what has been happening with our college again and again," the students said.
