People repose faith in Munish Gupta | Fed up with politicians | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 17: Editor Early Times Munish Gupta's mass contact programme is being taken seriously by the people who are coming forward to repose faith and trust in him. In a place where there's huge trust deficit and hatred for politicians because of their failure to meet the expectations, people are opening their doors and hearts to Munish Gupta. This was visible on Wednesday during Munish's visit to Preet Nagar, which is part of Gandhi Nagar constituency where from Munish would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate. As Munish was passing through Preet Nagar, a resident came out of his home and sought his intervention in resolving his major problem. Kuljeet Singh, who lives in House No. 13 of Ward No. 53, informed Munish that high tension electricity wires are perilously passing close to his house. "Anybody can imagine the grave threat posed to our lives by these wires," Singh told Munish, adding that he has now stopped making rounds of the Power Development Department after they turned a deaf ear to his repeated requests to shift the high tension wires. Singh said he was now hoping that Munish Gupta's arrival on the scene would be a game changer ad that it is going to make a difference to the lives of the people. "I am sure you will end my perennial insecurity posed by these wires," Singh told Munish. Munish promised him that he would do his best to mitigate his suffering. |
