Jammu only place where elections are won by raising hollow slogans: Munish to people
7/18/2019 12:18:54 AM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 17: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Wednesday said that people across the country have changed and they cast their votes after assessing performances of their elected representatives.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "Jammu is the only place where politicians win elections after raising hollow slogans. People of Jammu need to change and ask the former MLAs what they have done for them during all these years."
"If we just keep on getting carried away none of our issues will be resolved and we will continue to suffer. If we want things to change then we will have to strive for it," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
Munish said, "Since the day I have started the mass contact programme I have met people from different walks of life and everyone seems unhappy. They don't count list of achievements but they count the failures of the leaders who have represented them during all these years."
He said, "I have taken the first step by deciding to contest the elections. Now it's for the people to decide whether to choose me or the ones whom they have been voting for during all these years. If I win I assure my people that I will try my level best to serve them and resolve the issues which confront them in their daily lives. I need your support and blessings to succeed."
