JU emerges as group winner at national competition

Jammu, July 18: The University of Jammu has emerged as group winner at 15th National Level Youth competition.
According to press release, University of Jammu stood first in its group which was organized in the month of October 2018. The Youth Parliament programme is organized under the aegis of Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of India to strengthen the roots of democracy, to inculcate the habit of discipline and to enable the student community to understand the working of our parliamentary institution.
Prof. Manoj Dhar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu congratulated Prof. Jasbir Singh, Dean Students Welfare, Dr. Vijay Saigal, Group Coordinator of 15th National Youth Parliament and the participating students. Prof Dhar commended the Department of Students Welfare for successfully organizing the event, which will help the students to understand and appreciate the largest democracy in the world.
