Kathua, July 18: J&K SC/ST/OBC Development Corporation Ltd. today organized an awareness Camp in Panchayat Sahar of Tehsil and District Kathua for its target group beneficiaries of Backward Classes Community, In collaboration with NBCFDC (National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation), New Delhi.
About 200-300 persons belonging to Backward Classes Participated and attended the Awareness Programme in Community Hall of Panchayat Sahar. The target group persons were given comprehensive/ meticulous detail of different schemes including the education loan scheme for the youth of backward classes being implemented by the NBCFDC in J&K through its channelizing agency J&K S/ST/OBC Development Corporation Ltd. Distt. Kathua.
About 30 persons in Camp shown interest to avail loan from the Corporation, and they were given applications forms onspot with sound counselling by the Deputy General Manager of the Corporation Naveen Kumar Sharma, Apart from Officers of the line Deptts. like DIC, KVIB, Lead Bank Office, Sarpanch and Panches of the Panchayat Sahar and adjoining area remained present in the Awareness Camp. |
