2 sisters die due to `negligence' of nursing staff at Makol

sunderbani, July 18: A pal of gloom descended on Makol of Panchayat Nallaha Makol when a family lost their two daughters due to alleged negligence of nursing staff of Sub Center Makol of tehsil Sunderbani of district Rajouri. The incident came to light when parents found their both girls dead in the morning.
Although the parents were not in a condition to talk, but the uncle of deceased toddlers, Mohammad Ajim informed Early Times that yesterday the both girls Afseena Kousal (6 months) and Maysha Sheikha (2 years) were taken to Sub Centre Makol for vaccination by their mother.
He said that although both girls were normal after vaccination but were found dead in the morning.
The mother lost her consciousness. Immediately both the children were taken to Sub
District Hospital Sunderbani where they were declared brought dead. A board of doctors team conducted the post mortem of deceased and later bodies were handed over to the family for last rites. Local residents alleged that the nursing staff at Sub Center Makol is very non serious and don't work properly. They are mostly found busy on whatssap. Chief Medical Officer Rajouri said that the death of two girls had taken place due to snake bite. The parents denied the claims of CMO. Local appealed to Governor to conduct inquiry in the case of
negligence and demanded that entire nursing staff should be attached
and new staff should be deployed.
