| Release of MGNREGA payment before Eid Ul Azha demanded | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, July 29: President Public Awareness front Kishtwar Shakir Saddiqui today said that the government had fail to release the long pending wages of job card holders under MGNREGA.
In a press statement issued here today, Siddqui said that
Rural Development Department job card holders are without payments from years together under MGNREGA which should be given to them before Eid Ul Azha schedule to be observed on 12th of next month added that otherwise they are bound to take the path of agitation.
Siddiqui Demanded release of their pending payments in favour of the MGNREGA job card holders of Rural Development Department (RDD) along with the material cost.
Siddiqui further added that the government on one side said that the payment to the job card holder should be given with in 15 days as per prescribed norms while on the other hand side, the RDD department has fail to release the payment to the job card holders since 2016.
PAF president warns the concerned authorities to release the payment before Eid, otherwise they have no option left other than to come on streets to seek justice for poor masses. |
