Early Times Report

Jammu, Aug 13: Narendra Singh former Director Information in a statement issued here today has said that PM Narindera Modai's Address to the Nation regarding abrogation of Article 370&35A have mixed reactions, people from Hindu majority districts of Jammu Division welcome the decision of central government headed by PM Narendra Modi.
Said that the people believing that now J&K has become integral part of India as if it was not earlier, whereas people of Kashmir valley feel that by this decision, government has tried to change their Muslim majority status, resulting in polarising the state on communal political lines, which is not in the interest of the people of the state and country as a whole.
Instead of being in haste, government should have waited till August 15, so that People should have celebrated Eid festival and Independence Day peacefully simultaneously, there was no need of creating scare/fears among Amarnath Pilgrims, students and tourists who were asked to leave the valley in the pretext of militants attack.
"Imposing curfew like restrictions and snapping Internet services and communication system and banning the entry of the political leaders such as Ghulam Nabi Azad former Chief Minister J&K ,CPM general Secy Sitaram Yechury and CPI Chief D Raja in the valley to contact local leaders and people are not the solution to the existing problems", he said, adding that PM Modi broadcast to the Nation was positive and claiming that there is normalcy in the state and the people are happy with the decision of abolition of articles but it should appear like that.
