Early Times Report

Jammu, A ug 13: Bharatiya Janata Party, district Jammu West led by its District President Ayodhya Gupta organized a programme to thank the Central leadership for taking bold decision to abrogate Article 370, in which the party activists celebrated the occasion, enlightened by the information delivered by the speakers about the necessity of the removal and positives of Article 370 abrogation at Baby Caterers, Rehari, Jammu. Member of Parliament Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, former Cabinet Minister Sat Sharma (CA), Mayor JMC Chander Mohan Gupta, party State Chief Spokesperson Adv. Sunil Sethi, Mahila Morcha State President Rajni Sethi and other senior leaders delivered their informative speeches on the occasion. Jugal Kishore Sharma while addressing the jubiliant activists said that certain shrewd political and separatists groups were saying that to touch Article 370 will be like to trigger a bomb, but now it has been done for the greater good of the people on the voice and demand of people. People were agitating since long to abolish the black Article, and this is the real "Shradhanjali" to those who laid down their lives in the due course. Now the real independence has been achieved. Many people were making hue and cry but they cannot tell any single benefit of retaining Article 370. He gave the full credit of this day to the strong willed masses, who enabled Parliament to vote for its abrogation and said that old struggle since the Praja Parishad time has yielded results. 70 years struggle has ended and I feel proud to be a participant of the event, Jugal exclaimed.
