| Advisor Kumar visits Kulgam, Pulwama districts to review health facilities, law & order situation | | |  Early Times Report
KULGAM, PULWAMA, Aug 13: Advisor to the Governor, K Vijay Kumar today visited Kulgam, Pulwama districts and took stock of the health care facilities being provided to the patients there. During the tour, he also reviewed law & order situation in both the districts. Financial Commissioner Health AtalDulloo accompanied the Advisor during the visit. At DH Pulwama, the Advisor inspected various wards, units and interacted with staff as well as patients to take firsthand appraisal of their grievances and issues related to the healthcare. He was apprised by the hospital authorities about the stock situation of emergency drugs and other medicines available at the Hospital. The Advisor also enquired about the other activities being carried out by the health department for the people of the district. The Advisor while interacting with the patients enquired from them about the health facilities that are being provided to them. He also interacted with the hospital authorities and directed for providing best healthcare services to the people and to maintain the stock of essential drugs in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the Advisor also reviewed security, law & order situation with the senior police officers and other concerned officers.
Later, the Advisor also visited Pulwama where
he convened separate review meetings with the health and police authorities.
The Advisor exhorted upon the officers to ensure that people gets better healthcare services in all the government health institutions in the district and ensure that patients reach there without any inconvenience. |
