Jammu & Kashmir an Afgan Fallout
Dr. Ram Chander Sharma8/14/2019 10:13:06 PM
Starting as a child Chaiwala Sh. Narinder Bhai Modi has acquired the status of a Master Politician with his master stroke on strife stricken Himalayan State of Jammu and Kashmir burning for last 72 yrs due to geopolitics and geostrategic conspiracies of Super Powers. As a Pakistan mediated Taliban American accord for pullout from war raged Afghanistan is on cards the Indian Military think-tank felt the heat of a fallout of Talibans turning their way eastward in Jammu and Kashmir. The Indians on the other side wasted no time in the midst of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra in South Kashmir Himalayas to crack the whip on a corruption ridden Art. 370 a hindrance in the development annexed to Indian constitution as a temporary provision providing special status to a Muslim majority state of India having a far reaching powers to enact its own laws and a State Flag.
Additional forces buildup in Kashmir was enforce since middle of July on the pretext of a possible terrorist attack on Holy Pilgrimage in progress with pilgrims visiting the Lord Shiva cave in South Kashmir since June this year from all over India and abroad by Hindus. In spite of assurances from all Kashmir based Political parties , religious and social organizations for helping smooth and peaceful yatra there was recovery of cache of Pakistani made Sniper Rifle and other sort of ammunition. The alert Indian intelligence agencies issued advisory for pilgrims and tourists to leave the valley immediately and special road transport and air transport was arranged and as soon as the visitors left the valley the Union Cabinet Headed by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi met at New Delhi and passed the Orders scrapping Article 370 and taking away the Statehood of Jammu and Kashmir to bifurcation it into two Union Territories (UTS) viz. Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Thus started the new era of tackling the vexed issue of Jammu and Kashmir conflict from the direct control by New Delhi.
At the Midnight of August 15th when India got he Independence form British Colonial Rule the very wicked Britishers for the geostrategic ambitions created Islamic State of Pakistan and passed Independence Act for Princely States of India either to accede to India and Pakistan most of the Princely States of India acceded to India except Junagargh and Hyderabad which were taken over by Indian Home Minister Lt Sh Patel known as Iron Man of India by Military force but the Lt Maharaja of Jammu and Kashmir on the ill advice of his wicked Advisors (K……s) decided to remain independent offering Standstill agreements to both India and Pakistan. The latter quickly accepted under a conspiracy and India dithered. In the first week of October 1947 the tribals drawn from Waziristan with the help of regulars of Pakistani army attacked western borders of Jammu in districts Mirpur and Poonch and massacred thousands of Hindu Sikh minorities and raped and kidnapped young women. But the Maharaja remained unmoved despite cutting of essential supplies from Pakistan. . The dance of death, plunder, rape and kidnapping continued on the western borders of Jammu region until on 22nd October 1947 Tribals and Pakistani regular Army attacked Muzzafarabad on western borders of Kashmir Province unleashing worst ever war crimes the Pakistani force move to Srinagar but the velour of Brigadier Rajinder Singh and his small army confronted with his mytradom and of army men. The fearful Maharaja fled Srinagar and at Jammu begged Indian army help the first Indian Prime Minister of India Lt Sh Jawahar Lal Nehru made Maharaja to prostrate due to his personnel animosity and for appointing his protégée Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah as Prime Minister made Maharaja to come to his terms and send first Coolum of Army to Srinagar by air in morning of Oct. 27th . The first full-fledged Indo-Pak war started.
Than began the era of Nehuruvian Himalayan Blunders in Jammu and Kashmir. India having for superior Military power deliberately slow paced the war and firstly the forces were stopped at Uri in Kashmir valley. The Jammu front was given least attention and minority Hindus and Sikhs were put to be genocide by maurenders in a biggest conspiracy of modern warfare ; the forces were delayed to the extent that a major part of Jammu region was annexed by Pakistan to give Kashmir region and ethnic Kashmiri and upper hand in future political setup. It is a fact the Mirpur Distt. City felled of 24th of Nov. 1947 with massacre of 24000 innocent unarmed minorities killed in a single day and town of Deva Batala fell on 10th of December. Our gallant forces led by Brigadier Usman captured city of Kotli but due to unknown reasons pulled back and stopped at Janger Nowshera.
At the end on 1st January 1949 Pandit Nehru secretly moved to United Nations after a unilateral ceasefire announced by India on 31st December 1948 only to help his protégée Sheikh to retain power and give Kashmir a dominance in future political maneuvers. The end of war left the worst genocide in annals of human history by annihilation of 2-3 lac Hindu Sikh minorities in most barbaric way as not single bullet was fired and all were slaughtered and thousands of women and children raped and taken as sex slaves for rest of their lives.
The long tell tale was corrected on 5th of July by Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Sh. Narendra Bhai Modi a childhood Chaiwala and his Cabinet and latter passing the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Bill by both the houses of Parliament with overwhelming majority even couple of major political parties supporting the bill. Thus ended the 72 years of chaos , innocent killings, plunder of Govt exchequers by the corrupts and Human Rights violations of Minorities. In this space of time 42000 innocent lives lost , thousands maimed and youths got frustrated with no employment. The vast potential of tourism , hydroelectric generation, solar power generation and huge potential of herbal medicines of Himalayas and Shivalik Hills remained unexploited.
As two Lt. Governors assume their powers a big uphill task awaits the administration, police and security forces. One take the bull of terrorism by horn using iron fist approach. Two develop the vast potential of Tourism, hydropower and solar power for employment generation on modern lines. Three Relief and Rehabilitation of POJK and West Pakistani Refugees as per the GOI Rehabilitation Act 1954 as applicable in other parts of India , extending all relief to 5300 families settled outside of state and allotting them EP land available 15 lac Kanals in State and also providing all relief at par with Kashmiri Pundits till their full settlement and return of KPs to their mother land. Four declaring Jammu and Kashmir UT liquor free with imposition of Total Prohibition as per data Jammu is having highest nos. of wine shops and bars and Kashmir the least.
