Association of Micro and Small Scale Industries meets Anoo Malhotra, Director Industries

Jammu, Aug 17: A delegation of Association of Micro and Small Industries led by its President Harbinder Singh, along with Ajay Jagotra, Darshan Lal, Raminder Paul Singh ,and Shantanu Gupta met Ms. Anoo Malhotra Director Industries.
Harbinder Singh requested that a sustainable Industrial Development is a must to move the graph up. The industries are being divided into many different types. Based on the nature and capability, the MSME plays a very vital role because of its unique nature as compared to others, although there are issues of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in India.
Harbinder singh further requested that the state government has an industrial policy that offers attractive incentives along with the single-window clearance mechanism. The cost of setting up operations is comparatively lower than other states. He requested that land should be allotted to the Local budding Entrepreneurs at a concessional rate of Rs 2 Lakh / kanalupto 2 Kanal. He also requested the state government should look at developing Industrial Clusters in Jammu Region to support the Micro industry. The industrial Clusters shall give price and purchase preference to the Micro Industry to sustain.
He further requested that there are several pending payments for material purchased by the Government departments, which have not been issued to the micro enterprises over the last 2-3 years due to which many micro industries suffer. Payment should be issued to the micro enterprises at the earliest so that they do not suffer any more and the future tuition enable streamlined.
Anoo Malhotra gave a patience hearing and appreciated the efforts of Association of Micro and Small Industries and assured that she shall look into the concerns discussed.
