| JKSAC hails centre for abrogation of Article 370 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 17: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) a legendry registered organization struggling persistently for the final and full rehabilitation of DPs of 1947 from POK in a meeting held at Rohi Morh, Jammu welcome the abrogation of article 370 and termed it as a historical and most bold decision in the 70 years of Indian democracy, which will have a far reaching impact with regard to social and economic development of state, particularly DPs who are been discriminated and deprived of their legitimate rehabilitation. Abrogation of the article is in the best interest of DPs for which Narendra Modi and Amit Shah deserve special appreciation for the will power they have shown while taking this decision. While presenting his views in the meeting, Gurdev Singh, President said that DPs of 1947 from POK were discriminated and deprived of their legitimate rehabilitation under the garb of this article and erstwhile state constitution. The laws and Acts were framed by the valley centric dispensation to protect the rights of those people who left this part of state in 1947 and went to various parts of Pakistan to satisfy their communal urge, whereas the people who were forcibly thrown out of POK by armed Pakistan tribal were deliberately neglected and were deprived of their legitimate rehabilitation to weaken them economically and politically. |
