KATHUA, Aug 18: Joint Inspection team comprising representatives of DMO Kathua, RTO Kathua, Police and Revenue department seized 13 Tractors with trolleys for illegal mining in Hiranagar of district Kathua.
As per details, 2 tractor trolleys with illegal mining material were seized from Sallan area of Hiranagar and were handed over to SHO Hiranagar by Naib Tehsildar Sallan.
Similarly, 11 Tractor trolleys were handed over to Police Post Chadwal by Naib Tehsildar Chadwal in presence of representative of RTO Kathua and DMO Kathua for further course of action under rules.
The Deputy Commissi-oner, Kathua, Dr. Raghav Langer directed the MVD to suspend the license of these Tractor trolleys as they were meant to be used in agriculture sector and not for commercial purpose. |
