Divisional Commissioner, IGP Jammu visit Rajouri, interacts with civil society

RAJOURI, Aug 18: Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Sanjeev Verma alongwith IGP Jammu Mukesh Singh, the other day, visited Rajouri and interacted with the civil society members.
DIG Rajouri Poonch Range Vivek Gupta, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad and SSP Yougal Manhas were also present on the occasion.
Civil Society members appraised the Divisional Commissioner about several issues including employment and infrastructural development in the district, local employment at GMC and BGSBU and creation of auditorium facility.
Div Com assured them that all their genuine concerns would be looked into for their early redressal. He asked the DC to review the availability of essential commodities on daily basis and address the public requirements promptly.
DC informed the Div Com that the overall situation remained peaceful and all emergency services in hospitals are functioning normally besides uninterrupted power and water supply was ensured. He informed that sufficient essential commodities are available in the district.
Civil Society complimented the civil and police administration for their proactive role in maintaining peace in the district.
The Divisional Commissioner and IGP Jammu appreciated the people of Rajouri for maintaining peace and promoting brotherhood and harmony in the district. They also appealed the civil society members to cooperate with the civil and police administration in maintaining law and order in the district.
