Jammu, Aug 19: Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch (CBSM) (Regd.) organized a composite Mushaira at Akhnoor in connection with celebrations of 73rd Independence day.
Depash Kumar, Chairman Municipality Committee, Akhnoor was the chief guest on this occasion. Sham Sajan, a renowned singer from Jammu was the guest of honour whereas Rajpau Singh Mastana, a well known Punjabi writer from Jammu was the special guest in the programme.
Senior Ghazal writer from Kammu, Deepak Arsi presided over the programme. O P Shakir, Jang S. Verman, Dr. Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr. K C Bhagat and Rampaul Dogra shared the dais. Mohan Bharti welcomed the poets and guests. OP Sharma, President, Chander Bhaga Sanskriti Manch gave a brief of the activities of CBSM, Akhnoor.
The poets who presented their poetry included O P Shakir, Kewal Kumar Kewal, Varinder Mishra, Abhinandan, Pawan Sharma, Sham Sajan, Sarvesh Kumar, Dilip Singh, Mohan Bharti, Mohan PanditMohan Singh, Prem Sagar, Kesav Das, Ratan Bhardwaj, Jang S. Verman, Mohan Singh nirala, Usha Kiran Kiran, Rampaul Dogra, Suraj Ratan and Deepak Arsi.
A musical programme by young singers and accompanists was also presented on this occasion. |
