BJP appeals masses not to pay heed to rumours
8/19/2019 10:21:03 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 19: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has appealed masses not to pay heed to the rumours, being spread by some people.
Reacting sharply to the statement of Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Chief Minister of J&K Mehbooba Mufti, that Kashmir has been engulfed in "clouds of darkness" and she is worried for the safety of Kashmiris, BJP state executive member Raman Suri said that it was when her mother was the chief minister that maximum loss was caused to lives and property of Kashmiris.
He said, after knowing that Mehbooba Mufti was working for her family by encouraging nepotism and not for the betterment of Kashmiris, BJP had withdrawn support to her party.
Raman Suri said that statements of Iltija were aimed at fuming unrest in Kashmir and nothing else. He said Mehbooba Mufti's daughters who preferred to stay and work outside the state, have all of a sudden started showering their love for Kashmir and Kashmiris, whom they actually ditched.
Ever since Article 370 has been abrogated, the safety of people of this state has been doubly ensured by the Union Government and statements of Iltija were just to create unrest amongst masses.
The BJP leader said that she must refrain from statements that are aimed at creating unrest in the state. The state is going to progress by huge leaps and bounds and no one on this earth can now stop children of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh from writing their own fate in a peaceful and progressive atmosphere.
