India mulling decisive action?

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Aug 19: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has been talking tough since the day government of India has abrogated Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir and is reorganized the state by bifurcating into two union territories.
Two days ago the Defence Minister made it clear that India is committed to not to use nuclear weapon first, but he was quick to add that policy could change if the need arises. His statement rattled Pakistan and its leader started harping that J&K is nuclear flash point and India is threatening Pakistan with nuke, on Sunday Rajnath Singh said that talks of Pakistan is to be held on Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) and no parlays will be held with the neighbouring country on any other issue.
Analysts while talking to Early Times said that abrogation of Article 370 and J&K being reorganized has punctured balloon about Kashmir being dispute and Pakistan being a party to it.
He said that the Pakistan internationally failed to garner any support. "China took the matter to the United Nation Security Council but could not do much as the permanent member UNSC didn't support China's move and not even a press statement issued in this regard," he added.
An observer said that India getting international support and most of the countries turning their backs wards Pakistani leaders. "This way present Government of India led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is very much capable of taking decisive actions against Pakistan. There is every possibility about PM Modi to ask Indian Army to cross the line of control (LoC) and take over the PoK", the Observer added.
A Defence analyst said the recent statements of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh are clear indications that GoI can take bold decision to tackle the terrorist and their masters who are sitting across the line of control. "Pakistani leaders know it very well that its Army is not capable for fighting a conventional war with the Indian Army and it can keep the pot boiling only by fighting a proxy war through the terrorists sponsored by it", he added. The defence analyst said that the New Delhi posed clear indications that terrorism would not be tolerated and if the Pakistan continues support terrorists then it should be ready to face the action.
