BJP Jammu West felicitates family members of Praja Parishad Karyakartas

JAMMU, Aug 20: A program was organised to felicitate family members of Praja Parishad Karyakartas in a "Shradhanjali Sabha" organised by District Jammu West today at Talab Tillo. The program was attended by Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) along with District President BJP Ayodhya Gupta, Chairman SJC and Corporator Jeet Angral and many others including party activists and family members of people who worked during Praja Parishad time.
Family members of Praja Parishad Karyakartas who were felicitated in the program were Narinder Singh Salathia s/o Late Sulakshan Singh Slathia and Madan Singh Salathia s/o Late Sansar Singh Slathia. Sulakshan Singh Salathia and Sansar Singh Salathia were the part of Praja Parishad movement in the state.
Speaking on the occassion, Sat Sharma (CA) said that Praja Parishad and all its karyakartas had played a vital role in the fighting for the rights of Dogras and Jammu region. He also mentioned that many of Karyakartas have sacrificed their lives for the state and thousands were tortured in the jails. The slogan of "Ek Desh mein, Do Vidhan, Do Nishan, Do Pradhan nahi chalenge" was quoted in Praja Parishad movement, he added.
