Jammu, Aug 20: A three day induction programme was concluded at IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana , Jammu, for newly admitted students in 3-year Diploma courses in various engineering branches.
Inaugural function started with lightning of traditional lamp by Th. Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal,Vice-Chairman JGEI ,parents and senior faculty members, followed by welcome address by Er. Amit Sharma, Principal IECS Polytechnic.
A presentation about the various activities of the institution was presented by Er. Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration cum Training and Placement.
He impressed upon the newly admitted students to participate whole heartedly in teaching learning process, taking keen interest in all the curricular, co-curricular, extracurricular and placement activities during the period of training.
Other activities during the induction program included lecture on " Self and Body" by B.K. Rattan Bai from Brahm Kumari Sansthan.
Others present during the valedictory function included Er. Gurbachan Singh, HOD Civil Deptt.,E r. H.N.Bhat HOD Mechanical Deptt., Er. Vijay Singh HOD Electrical Deptt.,Er. Daljeet Kour HOD E&C Deptt and other faculty members. Er. Vijay Singh and Daizy Jamwal coordinated the inaugural and valedictory sessions of the program. |
