UDHAMPUR, Aug 21: District Magistrate Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla ordered ban on procuring, stocking ,sale and use of synthetic /nylon -glass coated popularly known as pacca dori and chinese manhja /dori along with thread coated with glass /or other such harmful substance for kite flying within the jurisdiction of District Udhampur for a period of two months,
As per an order, the ban has been invoked to prevent serious injuries or death to human beings and birds and to prevent harm to wild life and environment. |
