JAMMU, Aug 21: Executive Engineer EM&RE Division-II, Gandhi Nagar has informed that, for completion of balance works by M/s IRCON International Ltd, the shutdown of LT Network is being observed.
During the shutdown, the power supply to Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 22, 23 and 25 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Similarly, the power supply to Channi Himmat and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 22, 23 and 25 from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Likewise, the power supply to Sainik Colony and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 22 and 23 from 8 am to 12 noon.
Meanwhile, in order to carry out R&M works and augmentation works at 33/11 KV Receiving Station Khour, the power supply to Khour, Gigdyal, Hospital and its adjoining areas will remain affected on August 21 from 10 am to 5 pm.
However, to execute work of capacity enhancement/replacement of existing 33/11 KV, 6.3 MVA transformer to 10 MVA at R/Stn Dhar Road Udhampur under PMDP (U) Scheme, the power supply to Sallian Talab, Dhar Road, Railway, Kallar, CEO Office, Forest Office, Shakti Nagar, PHE etc will remain affected on August 22 from 9 am to 2 pm.
Meanwhile, Superintending Engineer EM&RE Circle Kathua has informed that, to carry out the work of charging of new DTs, the power supply to Arzi, Agriculture farm, Chowata Area, Dansal, Triloken di Chapri, Thalora Mandi, Garh Mandi,Sangwali Mandi , Kheri Mandi and PHE Installations will remain affected on August 22, 25 and 26 from 7 am to 12 noon.
