UDHAMPUR, Aug 21 : The District Election Authority organised a two day training programme for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in connection with Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls with resoect to 01-01- 2020 as qualifying date.
As many as, 102 Booth level Officers (BLOs) participated in the training programme.
During the training session, District level master trainers Mohd Latief briefed the participants about the process of Summary Revision.
While addressing the programme, EROs, 60 Udhampur Vikar Giri said that the objective of organizing this training programme is to increase the election participation during electoral process. He said that the role of BLOs in the process of purification of electoral is very important, for the purpose.
The BLOs were sensitized about various aspects of Special Summary Revision including display of voter lists, claims and objections, addition, deletion and modifications in the voter lists. |
