Ex BJP MLAs mull countering their probable replacements
8/21/2019 11:03:24 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 21: Former BJP MLAs and Ministers who are likely to be denied the party mandate in the next Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir, have started looking for weaknesses of their probable replacements. In the wake of clear indications by the party high command that maximum of the incumbents would not be repeated in the next Assembly elections, these former legislators are trying their best to have no one as their adequate replacement thus forcing the party to leave with no choice other than to repeat them.
Under this strategy and to ensure no one as their competitor, sources said that these ex legislators have virtually turned into spies secretly eying on activities of those who could be considered as their replacement in the elections. By using their all influences, help of local Police and its intelligence wing is being taken by these ex legislators to find out weaknesses and strengths of their probable replacements .
While elaborating, sources said that all possible attempts are being made to ascertain where these probable candidates move, with whom they meet, how do they manage their affairs, who are their supporters and enemies etc. Objective of gathering all such information is to devise a comprehensive strategy on the basis of these inputs so that claims of these probables could be affectively countered at the appropriate time, sources explained.
