Delay in restoration of mobile connectivity irks people, students worst affected

Jammu, Aug 25: There was a great resentment among the people of the Chenab valley over the delay in restoration of mobile calling services suspended three weeks ago after the abrogation of Article 370 A and 35 A of the constitution by Government of India on August 5, 2019 despite the fact that normalcy completely return in twin District of Chenab valley viz Doda and Kishtwar Districts and no untoward incident was reported from any part of both the Districts other than a minor protest on Eid at Jamia Masjid Kishtwar against which Kishtwar police already stands FIR registered.
As per the details available with "Early Times", all the schools and government offices are functional in Kishtwar and Doda District since last several days while the traffic movement on Jammu-Kishtwar National Highway and on inter District roads is moving smoothly since right from the beginning.
The people told the "Early Times", that delay in restoration of mobile calling services is taking heavy toll on their mental health added that the delay on part of the government in restoration of mobile calling services is unnecessary and unbecoming on part of the government and termed it as punishing the people "mentally" for their no fault.
The people from business community said that delay in restoration of mobile calling service is taking heavy toll on their business and said that they fail to communicate their business partners in Jammu and outside the state.
They said that they even fail to transfer the money to business partners as a result of which the trade in the Chenab valley hits badly. They said that government feels jittery in restoring the mobile calling services for no reason even though the situation is normal.
Some people even suggested for restoration of mobile services on experimental bases added that government could not become hostile to presumption of uncertainty which according to the people had to take a call someday towards restoration of mobile calling and internet services.
Meanwhile, the students complaints that they are becoming the worst target of unnecessary mobile and internet banning in the twin Districts of Doda and Kishtwar,
They said that most part of the modern education is depended on the services of internet added that they are facing lot of difficulties in connecting with their friends and teachers and called upon the authorities to immediately restore the mobile and internet services in Kishtwar and Doda Districts.
