Vijaypur, Sept 3: The Sarpanches and Panches of the fifteen Panchayats of District Samba today staged strong protest demonstration against the Power Development Department under the supervision of regarding the unscheduled power cuts at receiving station Jakh area of Vijaypur in District Samba here today of Sarpanches and Panches of fifteen Panchayats of Samba along with local people assembled in receiving station Jakh under the leadership of Sarpanch Ram Pal, they raised slogan and shouting against the officer of the power development department, they alleged that the said department continues unscheduled power cuts in their areas for last three months, due to this the farmer facing lot of troubles while the study of the children also affected due to unscheduled Power cuts, they also said that one year ago, the department was supposed to install a 6.3 capacity transformer at the receiving station due to power cuts, but the department has kept digging, but even after spending a year, its work has not been completed. |
