JKGPA highlights various demands of pharmacist cadre

Jammu, Sept 3: Sushil Sudan State President Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacist Association, Jammu addressing the media persons here today at Press Club, Jammu raised various demands pertaining to pharmacists cadre. He appealed to the government and concerned higher authorities to resolve the major issues so that the Health services could be taken to the mark of perfection. While talking to the media persons Sudan on the behalf of his Association extends & full support to striking employees of Government Pharmacist of Haryana for their genuine demands, given by association of government Pharmacists of Haryana. Meanwhile a resolution has been passed by the association that all the Government pharmacists of Jammu & Kashmir will wear black batches on 05-09-2019 during working hours to show their solidarity towards their support Sudan said that Government of Haryana should consider all the genuine demands of Pharmacist Employees Association Haryana with immediately effect on priority.
And other major issues of Jammu Kashmir Government Pharmacists which needs immediate redressal including DPC should be cleared at par with Government Medical College/Drug & Food control organization in the pattern of Executive order passed by the Administrative Department till the SRO-20 ( Recruitment Rules ) be modified and promotions should be accorded strictly as per seniority. Enhancement of entry level grade pay of pharmacists from 2400 to 4200 as per the central Government, running grade for pharmacists after rendering 5,10,15 years of services as per practice is already in department. Upgrade the posts of Pharmacists as Sr Pharmacists Supervisory Pharmacists, Head Pharmacists, Block Pharmacy officer and District Pharmacy officers.
