 Jammu, Sept 3: To expedite the campaign "Know the local problems" in old city of Jammu, Congress today conducted series of meetings in the old city.
Congress leader Varun Magotra urged upon the Govt. to mitigate the genuine problems of the old city. He said sewerage system in the old city was laid by then Congress govt but it is sorry to say that till date, it is not connected with the sewerage plant and people are suffering a lot. He also expressed concern over the slow pace in the renovation work of Dogra heritage Mubarak Mandi complex. The Gol Ghar and adjoining buildings in the complex need immediate repair otherwise these heritage buildings are under great threat.
