| IDRS organies STEM workshop | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 3: To prepare today's children to become the innovators and inventors of tomorrow keeping this in mind the first STEM (Science Technology Engineering& Mathematics) workshop was organised by International Daily Rising School. The biggest achievement is that IDRS is selected as The Nodal Centre of STEM for Jammu region and it is a noticeable achievement for the school in a very short span of time.
A very prominent personality and the Son of soil Prof. (Dr).Ak.Koul.a GEO SCIENTIST &Retd Principal GGM Science College was the Chief Guest Of the Event.
While addressing he emphasized that STEM based education teaches children more than Science and Mathematics concepts .Many distinguished schools from Jammu region attended the workshop. The Chairperson, SupinderKouralso appreciated and congratulated them.
The Director Academics Dr Atul Hans accentuated that the aim in life should be to pursue passion alongWith activity based learning.The Managing Director ,Raghav Gupta also motivated the students.The event was held with lots of zeal and zest. |
