The middle and small business establishments who were dependent of the movement of people from other parts of the UT and tourists continue to suffer. The problem of unemployment is rising and the government of the day should take steps at the earliest to mitigate their woes. Even the hotel industry is suffering as per reports published in certain section of the media. The Hotel industry which is largely dependent on the religious tourism continues to suffer since 5th August, with several booking already cancelled.
