Ramban, Sept 4: District Magistrate (DM) Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan today ordered to enforcement of SRO-45 regarding ban on polythene carry bags of thickness less than 50 microns.
According to the order issued by DM, Ramban the ban is hereby imposed in district Ramban on the manufacture, stocking, distribution, sale and use of polythene carry bags, plastic sheets or like, cover made of plastic packaging and multilayered packaging less than fifteen microns in thickness.
It was informed that District Officers and above of Pollution Control Board, Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Authorities, Health Officers, Executive Officers of Municipal Bodies, Warden and Range Officers of Wild Life Department, BDOs and Panchyat Inspectors of RD department besides officers of Police Department including SP, SP Traffic, Dy.SP, SDPOs and SHOs have been authorize for the seizure of above mentioned banned items. |
