Udhampur, Sept 4: In shocking development it has come to fore that land grabbers are now out to grab Nallahs and lands adjoining them.
Surprisingly many schools , hotels ,residential houses have its building over such Nallah after putting a big concrete slab over it and encroach land to it
Similarly some local residential of udhampur town have also encroached such Nallahs and lands adjoining to them into their residential buildings after covering the deep drain with a concrete slab and it's the live example at opposite postmodern room of district hospital Udhampur under municipal limit that a retired govt employe of education department has been encroached the nallah and constructed the illegal boundary wall for covering the nallah but administration seems to be in deep slumber
All this is happening under the very nose of concerned authorities and the locals feel that high rate of corruption was involved to keep these authorities mum, they added
Locals appealed to Governor SP Malik and DC Udhampur Piyush singla please look into the matter and take strict action against concerns authorities as well as encroacher who were involved in this illegal practice. |
