Association for Welfare of Senior Citizens opens new office

JAMMU, Sept 5: The Association for Welfare of Senior Citizens (Regd.) on Thursday inaugurated its new office at House No 127, Sector 3 Trikuta Nagar, here.
The facility has been temporarily provided by R. S. Broca (the owner of property) till such time the association could make its own regular arrangement.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was conducted by H.B Khajuria (Rtd. Chief Engineer), Chief Patron of the Association in presence of both the patrons Ashok Arora and Prem Gupta, besides members of the Management Committee, Executive Members, special invitees, other life members and guests from sister organisations.
In line with the aims and objectives of the association, it was decided that besides other main activities the office will also function as 'Help Line' for the Senior Citizens in distress.
Accordingly, it was notified that any senior citizen, whether a life member or not, in need of any help/guidance would be welcome to approach the Association office during monthly or weekly meeting.
However, in case of emergency contact may be established on any of the Mobile numbers 9419797548, 9419165747, 949203391 and 9469214440.
It was also notified for the information of all concerned that monthly (general) meeting of the Association would be held on first Thursday, and weekly (internal) meeting on rest of Thursdays of every month (between 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM).
