Early Times Report
Udhampur, Sept 5: The Florence Nightingale park developed inside the premises of District Hospital Udhampur is in shambles, exposing the irresponsible attitude of concerned authorities.
Some locals and others who visit district hospital for medical examination or treatment told Early Times that though park was developed for patients, so that they would refresh themselves but its pathetic condition, made them more worrisome.
They also said that the hospital administration must take up the matter with the concerned authorities for its repairs and maintenance.
Medical Superint-endent Udhampur hospital claimed that the park was adopted by a Nursing institute so they were responsible for its maintenance and not the hospital administration.
In-charge of Florence nightingale institute of Nursing and Para-medical Science Udhampur Sunit Mahajan said that they were facing scarcity of funds, which was hampering the maintenance of the park. He promised that they would soon maintain the park.
