Jammu, Sept 5: One day awareness/demonstration programme held at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjwa Jammu, which was organized by Civil Defence, Jammu under the able guidance of . Muneer Ahmed Khan, IPS, Additional Director General of Police Homeguard/Civil Defence & SDRF J&K, Vikas Gupta, JKPS, SSP, Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu and close supervision of Shashi Thakur, Dy.SP, Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. In the awareness camp more than 500 students and teaching/non-teaching staffs of the institution were made aware about the knowledge of First Aid etc. While speaking on the occasion Dy.SP Shashi Thakur, Paramjit Kumar Chief Warden and ASI Ram Dayal of Civil Defence Jammu highlighted the role of Civil Defence Wardens/Volunteers and importance of Civil Defence Organization during disaster to help the people as first responder.
Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu also distributed the Civil Defence Certificates among the students who have imparted 05 days Basic Civil Defence Training at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sunjwana w.e.f. 24-06-2019 to 28-06-2019.
Manish Tuli, Principal and Shri Rakesh Kumar, Vice Principal of the institution were appreciated the role of Civil Defence Organization and thanked Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu and her team for organizing such important awareness programme.
