| Taranjit for restoration of Statehood | | |
JAMMU: A Senior leader Taranjit Singh Tony demanded the restoration of Statehood status to Jammu and Kashmir as it is burning demand of the Jammu and Kashmir particularly Jammu people.
As per statement, senior leader Taranjit Singh Tony said that Union Territory (UT) status to Jammu and Kashmir is not acceptable to the public of Jammu province as people are boiling along with anger brewing among people of Jammu.
He also said that every UT demanded statehood status but the Jammu and Kashmir have made UT, is injustice with people of the Jammu and Kashmir. The Union Government has enough time to set things right before Assembly Elections.
Jammu province is always forefront runner for the nation interest and taking away statehood status feeling humiliating.
He appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reconsider the things and restore state as it is burning desire of Jammu people.
