Secretary PWD inaugurates link roads in Samba

SAMBA SEPTEMBER 06: Commissioner Secretary R&B/PWD Khurshid Ahmed Shah along with District Development Commissioner Samba, Rohit Khajuria, today inaugurated newly upgraded link roads here at Mahal Shah, Radwan and Abtal of border area Ramgarh.
It was informed that 2 KM link road from Mahal Adda to Mahal Shah, 2 KM link road from Ramgarh road to Radwan and 3.5 KM circular road at Abtal have been constructed at a cost of Rs 90 Lakh under JKIDFC.
Chief Engineer PWD (R&B) Nasir Goni, Executive Engineer Samba, Rajesh Abrol besides other senior officers of R&B department were also present.
Addressing the locals present, the Commissioner secretary said that long pending demand of the area has been met with opening of links roads. He further assured that the department of R&B/PWD would provide better road connectivity to the common masses and identify the areas where more such link roads and upgradation of existing roads are required.
