| DDC reviews progress on PDD schemes, projects | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Sept 6: District development commissioner Rohit Khajuria, today reviewed the progress of various power sector schemes and projects here at a meeting of officers of the concerned department.
Chief Planning Officer Sukhleen Kour, Executive Engineer PDD, Narottam Kumar, Executive Engineer STD-II, Jatinder Singh, Executive Engineer Project Wing Jammu-Samba, Vinod Kumar Baloch, besides other officials of PDD were present.
The meeting was appraised about the status of schemes including the languishing projects. It was informed that poor response to tendering has held up some projects.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to take up incomplete projects departmentally to finish pending works. He laid emphasis on formulating the long term plans to provide uninterrupted power supply to the district.
While reviewing the Subhagya scheme, the DDC directed the department to submit the details of the works executed under this scheme along with their location to his office. The DDC also directed revenue department to identify land for establishment of receiving station near Supwal. |
