Kawa College of Education celebrates "Teachers Day"

Jammu, Sept 6: Kawa College of Education, Patoli Gurha Brahmana (Muthi) celebrated Teachers Day on 5th of September, 2019 with great fervor and gaiety. The students of the college performed various cultural activities comprising of dances, poems, skits, and songs. The programme was initiated by lightning of the lamp. The function was presided over by the chairman of the college Er. M.S. Katoch. Among others present in the function wereProf. Alka Bakshi (Director), Dr. Bharti Sharma (Principal), Sonia Luthra (Lecturer), Arti Sharma (Lecturer), Sarita Jamwal (Lecturer), Lovely Manhas (Lecturer), Tarsem Kumar (Chief Librarian) of the college.
Prof. Alka Bakshi (Director) of the collegeencourage the students to imbibe the qualities of a good teacher set by our second president Dr. Radha Krishnan. Later Dr. Bharti Sharma (Principal) of the college, addressed the students and apprised them with the great work of Dr. Radha Krishnan as a teacher, vice-chancellor and ambassador to USSR.On the occasion students give greeting cards & gifts to their teachers as a token of love. The programme came to an end with the encouraging words and blessings to the students by the chairperson.
