| DPS Nagbani celebrates Teachers' Day | | |  Jammu, Sept 6: A good teacher can inspire hope, Ignite imagination and instill love for learning. DPS Nagbani celebrated Teacher's Day with great fun and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted by the students of Chenab House to mark the Teacher's Day celebration. The assembly began with a talk highlighting the contribution of teachers in the student's life. It was followed by a beautiful poem pointing the importance of a teacher. A skit was also staged by the students which was the main attraction of the whole assembly. The students who were dressed as teachers gave away titles to their favorite teachers. The efforts put into assimilate and design the programme spoke volumes about the love, respect and gratitude of the students towards all the teachers. The teachers were overwhelmed by the thoughtful gestures of the students and felt appreciated with a deep sense of ecstasy on the special day. The Principal of the school R.K. Verma congratulated everyone present there on this day and said that teachers and the teaching profession contribute more to the future of a nation than all the other professions put together. |
