| Police arrest peddler with 260 grms charas, 3kg bhukki | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: Police Station Gandhi Nagar arrested 1 peddler and recovered 260 Gms of Charas and 3 Kgs of Poppy Straw (Bhukki) from his possession. A police party from Police Station Gandhi Nagar while on Naka duty, stopped a scooty bearing registration No.JK02BE-2504, for checking. The rider of the scooty was identified as, Harpreet Singh alias Gori, son of Kulbir Singh, resident of H. No. 264/9 Nanak Nagar, Jammu at present Dashmesh Nagar, Jammu. On search, 260 gm Charas and 3 Kg Poppy Straw (Bhukki) was recovered from his possession. In relation to this, case FIR No. 242/2019 under section 8/15/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and investigation initiated.
