| JMC to organized fogging campaign | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: To free the city from dengue and malaria, Municipal Corporation Jammu will organize a thermal fogging campaign and special sanitation drive in the city.
Baldev Singh Billawaria, Chairman Public Health Sanitation Committee, Jammu Municipal Corporation interacted with Media Persons about this said that a special thermal fogging campaign in all the 75 wards of the city from 9th of September.
The specialty of this campaign will be that through an advertisement in newspapers, the concerned councilor of the ward, S.O. and A.S.O. Contact numbers will be published so that people of the ward, if not satisfied with this, can contact these numbers and lodge their complaint.
Chairman Billawaria said that the fogging campaign from one ward will proceed in the next ward only when the local councilor will give NOC otherwise the campaign will not go ahead because the corporation has received many complaints about fogging in the past. This NOC system has been implemented only to eliminate these complaints. |
