| GDC Paloura celebrates Teachers day | | | Early Times Report
Teachers Day was Celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm at Government Degree College Jammu City Paloura. The Programme began with the lightening of the ritual lamp in order to pay tribute to Dr. Sarv Pali Radhakrishnan. The Principal of the College Prof. Rita Bhagat was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Various cultural items were presented by the students/NSS volunteers of the College. Many students spoke on the philosophy, teachings and preaching's of the said philosopher. NSS co-ordinator Dr. Sanjay Kapoor gave the welcome speech. Our worthy Principal also spoke on the occasion. She advised the students to follow the path of truth and hard-work so that they can become the strong pillars of the Nation. Dr. Veena Sumbria, Prof. Narayan Dutt and Prof. Shashi Prabha along with the staff members were also present on the occasion. |
