Jammu, Sept 7: Sports events fill everyone with oodles of 'Power', 'Self confidence' and of course 'Winning spirit'. Keeping in mind the far reaching and humongous impact of sports , Army Public School Kaluchak organized a two days Inter APS Jammu Cluster Rolling Trophy Swimming Competition for the session 2019-20 on 6 September, 2019. Eight schools, namely Army Public School Kaluchak, Army Public School Jammu Cantt., Army Public School Miran Sahib, Army Public School Damana, Army Public School BD Bari, Army Public School Sunjwan, Fauji Public School participated in the same. The two days Tournament culminated on 7 September, 2019. Proving the saying of Edward Moore right that when you are blessed with great influences , you need to spread them, APS Kaluchak emerged triumphant and proved its mettle in various events which included Backstroke, Breast stroke , Free style and Relay of different length for different groups. The students of APS Kaluchak added feathers to the already decorated cap by clinching 17 gold, 10 silver and 4 bronze in boys and girls category collectively and made their presence felt in an overwhelming modus operandi. The winners were felicitated Brig RK Prusty, Chairman APS Kaluchak lauded the efforts of the players. He rekindled the fire of proving themselves with his motivation laden inspiring words which in turn prompted them to visualize sports from a new perspective. |
