Rs Pura, Sept 8: A social activist has demanded immediate repair and blacktopping of Chohala-Tanda road, a stretch of four kilometres, which is in dilapidated condition.

Singh Chohala , a social activist alleged that the lives of common men in Chohhala and nearby villages like Chohhala Kothey, Tanda were at stake as the condition of the road was deteriorating day by day.
"A number of times survey of the site was also conducted but till date no proper steps have been initiated for a permanent solution," Singh said, and appealed the Governor Satya Pal Malik and district administration to start the road work immediately before any big mishap takes place resulting in loss of lives. |
